Today is the day. We are so excited to welcome you to Omaha for the first day of the 2026 Ciceronian Society conference.

Are you staying at the Cambria Hotel? Did you get your breakfast vouchers at Check-in? If not, stop by the Front Desk.

Also, if you’re up for it, consider joining us for Morning Prayer at 8am EST in Ballroom A.

We'll have plenary sessions to begin and end the day, with a catered lunch, and some breakouts. Tonight we'll hear from Ciceronian Society leadership and the 2026 Herbert Storing Prize winner, Jane Calvert.

Airport Transportation

The Cambria Hotel (where most of you are staying), provides a free shuttle to-and-from the Omaha Airport. You have to arrange this with them, and call them separately.

Due to construction at the Omaha Airport, their pick-up and drop off points can apparently change daily.

If you get stuck at an airport or hotel and need help getting where you need to go, you can send a quick message to [email protected] or call/text us at (734) 265-0149‬. We’ll do our best to help you if we can. Uber and Lyft are also available. 

Once the conference gets going, you’ll hopefully make connections for ride sharing for the rest of the event.

Prayer Time

Anyone is welcome to join us at 8am on Thursday, 7:30am on Friday, and 8am Saturday in Ballroom A for an abridged version of Morning Prayer as found in the Book of Common Prayer (2019, ACNA). All are welcome.

Coffee, water, and tea are available each day of the conference. 

Breakfast?

Breakfast is not provided by the Ciceronian Society, but those staying at The Cambria Hotel should have received vouchers for the breakfast buffet at check-in. You can use these at The Round Bar & Kitchen, which opens for breakfast at 6:30am on Thursday and Friday, and then at 7am on Saturday.
